Advice for teachers

History sources research and use in teaching will enable easier realization of history teaching goals, key terms adopting and achievement of regulated teaching standards.

Big advantage of thematic digital library Veliki rat is that presented digitized objects are followed by information about the every source, retrieved from local data base of National library of Serbia. Description which is provided enables both teachers and pupils work with digitized sources without the fear of incorrect or unreliable information and makes the work with such material a lot easier.

In order make work in digital library easier and more efficient, section themes contains links to characteristic material connected to particular theme. Any theme and any object in presented themes can be used in teaching, it is the matter of teachers choice which one will be used.

Class preparations is section where teachers can see examples of methodic class preparations for elementary and high schools. Examples differ from standard way of preparations by dominant demonstrative method and work on text, since the main teaching material are digitized sources.

Through this educational portal and available sources connected to First World War teachers should help pupils to develop skills such as:
